LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

As an organisation, we believe that effective leadership requires effective communication. Our intention is to support others to develop in the practice of effective communication and leadership, moving beyond theoretical models to embodied leadership in practice. We believe that leadership happens at all levels in organisations – irrespective of position or role. We believe our canine friends have much to teach us about leadership and clear communication. It’s true…ask anyone who works with dogs… An experienced dog handler knows it’s about building a relationship based on trust and respect, harnessing individual skills, working together in the same direction, to get a great result. Our canine facilitators will insist you “walk your talk!”. We believe it’s important to look at the whole leadership question from  different perspectives . We can see it as an “outside” process – depending on the context and environment. The important question to explore is “what kind of leader do I need to be here?” And as an “inside-out” process – ” where the leaders asks “when I’m leading at my best what kind of leader am I?” Whatever the definition of leadership, we believe that it all starts with you and the way you respond to the challenges you face.

We design whole programmes and individual modules for existing programmes. Here are some examples of our work.
