Q. What is Pawz4Thought?
Pawz4Thought Programmes follow a philosophy that focuses on the learning opportunities the human/animal bond delivers. Participants learn that the way we connect, engage and motivate a dog, without using dominating or coercive behaviour, is a direct metaphor for how to effectively connect, engage and interact with people.
Q: Where are you located?
We currently run courses in Hampshire, Berkshire and all over the UK.
Q: How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on workshop, group size and location.
Q. What should I wear?
Pawz4Thought is very much a hands on activity, both indoors and outdoors, and with dogs. Our general advice is to dress for the weather and wear clothes that you can comfortably walk and move around in.
Q. How can I incorporate the programme into my company’s learning and development plan?
Talk to us. We’ll clarify the business/ organisational outcomes and help you write the business case for attending a programme.
Q. Can I use the course as part of an NLP, coaching, management or leadership development programme?
Yes! This is one of our specialist areas. Our programmes are available as a half day or full day programme or as part of a larger NLP, leadership, coaching, or management programme.
Q. What makes you different from other companies who run experiential learning programmes.
Pawz4Thought is a simple, fast, and effective way to improve teamwork, communication, and leadership. It is a truly unique format. But what makes it even more special is how much management and coaching experience we bring.
Q. Is the programme aligned with tangible business objectives that can demonstrate a return on investment?
Before we embark upon Pawz4Thought training with you we will conduct a baseline assessment of what both individual participants and the organisation want to have happen, determine individual and business outcomes for the work, and ask for evaluation and feedback afterwards.
Q. Who provides the dogs?
For team building and workshops Pawz4Thought provides our own highly trained Golden Retrievers, Harry and Lucy. The dogs live with us as part of our family and we have trained the dogs personally to ensure they are all obedient and enjoy the interaction with humans. We will work with you to ensure a safe environment is of paramount importance.
Q. Do I need to have experience with dogs?
No. Pawz4Thought programmes appeal to dog lovers and those who have had no experience with dogs, alike. The value of the programmes comes from the business and personal insights and is not influenced by the delegate’s previous experience of dogs.
